According to the shallowest "scholars" Serbian statehood started in 2006, when Serbia became independent after Montenegro's secession. Somewhat deeper "scholars" gonna say that Serbia became a self governing principality in 1830 and an independent and internationally recognized nation-state in 1878.
However, in 2017., Serbia celebrates 800 years since the coronation of the King Stefan the First Crowned and the international recognition of Serbia. Kingdom of Serbia Association will mark this important anniversary with numerous activities, and the final will be in the city of Kraljevo in October.

The other day it was 47 years since the concert as it had never been, nor ever will be, was held - Woodstock 1969.
In order to become what it is today, America had to subjugate its own people, first. All the States are doing the world, today, has its roots in the 60s and 70s of the previous Century. The Ohio National Guard before intervening in Bosnia and Herzegovina and occupied Kosovo and Metohija, had its first shot at Kent State University students, killing four and wounding nine on May 4, 1970.

The casualties have counted among the students, who were protesting against the war in Vietnam. This was a time when the American people, especially young people was still free. Still thinking for themselves. The media represented the important component of freedom, at the time, because without accurate and true information, there is no substantive and real democracy.
