Genetically Modified Crops were placed in the market in mid 90’s. Since then, GMO crops have reached almost 200 million hectares or about 12% of total field crops growing area. Without an ambition to analyze the GMO phenomenon here, in a sentence is could be stated that after GMO came to the stage, nothing had ever been the same.
The Stone age of transgenic technology was finished somewhere at the end of the first decade of this Century. The game changer in genome editing appeared to be a method called CRISPR-Cas which enable the more sophisticated gene manipulation, by far, and gives the ability to introduce a particular induced mutation throughout the whole genome of an organism. Moreover, the effect of the genome change could be visible in one generation, and no crosses and/or the next generation of progenies is required. The process in reverse direction is possible, as well, that put a cherry on the top of this. The changes in technology are of that scale that put a question of GMO definition validity. Not to mention that CRISPER opens the road and speed up the further evolution of genome editing laboratory techniques.
Though, CRISPR needs to be polished some more, it is improving by day, giving a whole new world of opportunities as a powerful biological scissors, for more precise genetic surgery.
However, the attractiveness of new genome editing technologies is not promising benefits for medicine, or agriculture, mostly. A “Military Intelligence”, as it seems, has found an angle, as well. An angle that could give you the shivers.

The Serbian political or more precisely demagogue scene is characterized by the fact that people are on average wiser than those who have been chosen to lead us. Of course, that's why they were chosen for in "free" and "democratic" elections. The West is not crazy and foolish to choose wisest among us, neither the most honest, nor the most capable to lead us. The election campaign is a list of lies and mega lies - pensions and salaries will grow, the electricity bills will not go up, "we won’t give up Kosovo" .... After the elections, pensions get stolen and salaries go down, our resources do on sale, and we have to realistic on Kosovo and Metohija. They give away everything like this is their personal heritage. If citizens were complaining, then the answer is "Well, you gave us a mandate in the elections to do all this." They have even surpassed notorious Baron Munchhausen. If they were Pinocchio, their nose would be dragged by miles through the dirt! It is a pro-Western position, for whom Pence is enough to walk them to the door of the White House, to forget the Yellow House (The house in Albania, where Sqhiptar terrorists took organs from kidnaped Serbs), and to "call for an internal dialogue" about the surrender of a part of the Serbian state territory. After spending a few days in America, and a few hours in the White House, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic published the authorial text that would have to worry all the sincere patriots, regardless which political party they support (especially those who vote for the SNS – Vucic’s Party). Just a few days after returning from the US, Vucic called on Serbia's citizens for "internal dialogue on Kosovo and Metohija, and not to leave this burden to the descendants."

The Albanians or Shqiptars as they call themselves, have become "a little nervous". The card game had started very good for them. They passed a lie. Slaughtering, killing, lying, cheating, ethnic cleansing everything has been allowed for the "good guys" who are fighting for "independence" from the "evil of Serbs". They haven't been alone. The same worked for the Croats, but the wily Latins wannabes knew when to go under the radar. Albanians did not. According to their custom, these unsofisticated primitive highlanders, pushed their project "Shqipëria e Madhe" (Greater Albania) with increasing aggressiveness.Desperately. What is it that these insatiable servants of every ruthless bully who came to Balkans, pushed to such behavior? "Those that we gonna expel from our Skadar and Drach, sooner or later" felt genuine fear and showing signs of nervousness? They begin to reveal their real face quite too soon and they are starting to make mistakes! Serbs have gotten off the wrong foot with the U.S., for 25 years, now. That is "la dommage", but what to do - "The life is tough, and than we die". However, the vast diversity of opinions, on their side, is interesting to follow. Here is the one ..... Justin Raimondo (born Dennis Raimondo; November 18, 1951) is an American author and the editorial director of Antiwar.com. He describes himself as a "conservative-paleo-libertarian." Major ideas and recurring themes. Raimondo argued in a 2003 Antiwar.com column that Israel exerts a dominant force in the formulation of American foreign policy. Raimondo also believes the United States was led into World War II through lies by President Franklin D. Roosevelt and that the U.S. deliberately provoked a war with Japan through economic sanctions. Raimondo's views have been compared by Christopher Hitchens to those of Charles Lindbergh, whom Raimondo describes as an "American hero sprung from the heartland."[ Raimondo has also written that Israeli intelligence operating in the U.S. had advance knowledge of the September 11, 2001 attacks. Shqiptars so called "Albanians" has been somebody's servants from the beginning of time. During the Ottoman Empire they were wild, marauding troops in the service of Turkey against its Christian subjects. Austro-Hungary, Britain, primarily, gathered these wild tribes and formed them a State naming it "Albania" (Shqipëria in their language), after the First Balkan War, to prevent the Serbs to come out to the Adriatic Sea. The ancient Serb's medieval capital city of Skadar was given to the newborn "Albania" by West European forces. The years that followed have been marked by Shqiptar's servitude to different Masters - Austro-Hungary, Italy and Germany during the WWII, Tito (for a short time until 1948), Soviet Union, Mao's China, and USA and NATO, now. The other Shqiptar constant in behavior was the advancement to the North toward Kosovo and Metohija, and further up. In order to achieve their goal of "Greater Albania" they lie, steal, kill, conduct ethnic cleansing, mate like rabbits and blackmail. The blackmailing is a "weapon" they have a habit to use ever since being ethnic minority in Serbian Kosovo and Metohija. By blackmail they achieved that Tito's Commies had made an Autonomic Province of Kosovo and Metohija in the territory of the Socialistic Republic of Serbia, that was one of six Republics of which SFR Yugoslavia consisted. They had used blackmail Serbia until the Occupation by NATO forces in 1999. They are blackmailing the NATO occupier, now :). [LG]

Wow! Sharp! Luckily, we have Wikipedia. What's next? Aha, what the heck is "The National Interest"? As they say in "About Us".... "Over almost three decades, The National Interest, founded in 1985 by Irving Kristol and Owen Harries, has displayed a remarkable consistency in its approach to foreign policy. It is not, as the inaugural statement declared, about world affairs. It is about American interests." To be honest, the only "remarkable consistency" I could see in J.J. text is distortion of truth!American manner of bending the truth could be funny if this hasn't cost Serbs lives, infrastructure, resources and territories. J.J. starts from the middle. "Few would argue that the peace and stability of western Europe shouldn’t be a vital interest of the United States. The greatest external threat to a stable Europe is Putin. The Balkans is a playground for bad actors—and likely will be an increasing priority for them. You people destroyed stability at Baklans, burning Yugoslavia in flames! You initiated, fed, support, trained, armed and encouraged Bosnian and "Kosovo" Muslim, Croatian and Slovenian extremists and nationalists to armed rebellion. You simplified the situation reducing it to a single standpoint - "Serbs bad guys, everybody else good guys". Your "Pax Americana" has been the same as Tito's commies - Weak Serbs, strong Balkans. TALKING FROM THE PERSONAL EXPERIENCE, when you find yourself a citizen of the country on the brink of an armed conflict, or even worst in the full scale Civil War, the personal impression is that the whole World is looking at your situation, and your troubles are in the focus of every person on Earth. However, the truth is that almost no one really cares! People have their own lives, struggles, concerns, pleasures, everyday routines. Your misfortune, war, killings, airplanes, bombs, atrocities, fire, blood, injustice, aggression, are just motion pictures on the TV screen. Something that a distant person, far away is watching over the spoon during breakfast, bringing a short and a fast passing excitement before work. To be cynic, bringing, maybe, a touch of good feeling that all the real troubles are somewhere else. Faraway. And all personal troubles and frustrations fade away comparing to "what is going on over there". But, "over there" is my life, my country, "my" war, my wounds, my starvation, my death... I remember very well watching Beirut, Sabra and Shatila, Saigon, Pol Pot, even Ceausescu fall in neighboring Romania, I watched from the comfortable safety of the former Yugoslavia. From my present experience, I should know better. That is not all. You are sure that imaginary someone, at list, could separate injustice from justice. Who's guilty. Who's less guilty. Who's innocent. To understand. To comprehend. Nuts! People are walking "daily news", tend to simplify complicated situations. Good guys vs. bad guys. That's it. The less people know, the more aggressive they are in advocating their point of ignorant and outside formed view. Believe you me, it is much easier to be bombed than to listen some western idiotic guy talking with the conviction of connoisseur things he has no idea about. Talking Christiane Amanpour's CNN News as his personal opinion. So, who is who in Syria? What is what? I am not pledging that the following text is "truth and nothing but the truth", but it could shed some light on the history, confronted sides and the current situation in Syrian war.
