BLACKMAILING AND PUSHING SERBS BY THE WEST CONTINUES

We are witnessing, as we speak, the unacceptable conduct of so called "Western Powers" (read Washington and Brussels) toward Serbs. No matter what Serb's political leaders say or do, it's not cooperative enough. The latest example is Serbian position on the referendum in Republic of Srpska. Serbian President and Prime-minister are pushed by the West to press Dodik and political leaders of RS to give up the referendum on the one and only question - "Do you support a proposal that the 9th of January become a Republic Independence Day?"
On 9th of January 1992, in Pale near Sarajevo, former Assembly of the Serbian people in Bosnia and Herzegovina, after the will of Serbs in Bosnia and Herzegovina had been repeatedly ignored by Muslims and Croats, proclaimed Serbian Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina. On 12th of August, the same year, the name was changed to the Republic of Srpska. The existence of the Serbian entity was honored and defined by the Dayton Peace Agreement.
No more, no less. That's it. And that became the issue of all issues. The reason for the harassment of Serbs, once again.
For Muslims in Bosnia it appears to be the question of life and death. For Washington and Brussels, too.
So, they reacted, pushing Belgrade to press democratically elected political leaders in Republic of Srpska to give up this referendum.
Belgrade responded taking an "elastic" and the only sensible, and even possible position of non supporting the referendum, but supporting every decision of Serbs in Republic of Srpska.
The result is that part of media in Serbia reported that as a treason, and part marked that as standing by Republic of Srpska. However, Western media - reflecting the position of their political factors - said "Serbia's Leaders Refuse to Influence Bosnian Serbs" (New York Times), not missing a chance to label Serbia as "the bad guys", once again.
Who knows, may be came handy in future...
However, the real issue is omitted.
Let's see what that could be...

Inzko has not submitted a report to
 Serbia, and nobody asked why!

The real question is why the EU High Representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina Valentin Inzko has never submitted a report to Serbia as one of the guarantors of the Dayton agreement, although it was under an obligation, but also on why no one has so far reacted and called him to fulfill that obligation, says an expert on international legal acts and associate of the Strategic Culture Foundation, Slavka Kojic.
Annex 10 of the Dayton Agreement, among whose signatories was the FRY, whose legal successor is Serbia, stipulates inter alia that the High Representative is required to continuously maintain close contacts and cooperation with the parties, and hence with Serbia, but also to provide periodically reports.
Has it been done? From the President of the Republic of Srpska Milorad Dodik one could learn that it has not. How is it possible? Why no one reacted, so far? Why this issue is not topical, and why nobody has not raise the question of responsibility of the High Representative, yet - it is the real question, now. Such question could certainly be raised in an appropriate place - the UN Security Council discusses the manner in which the High Representative realizes its role according to the provisions of the Annex 10.
Annex 10 provides that the High Representative, accomplishing his mandate, convenes a Joint Civilian Commission in B&H, act as a Chairman of this Commission, and that in the Commission have to participate the representatives of the Republic of Serbia, because Serbia is a legal successor of F.R. Yugoslavia and, consequently, one of the signed parties in this Agreement.
If he did not do that - and did not – this is, not only, the question of his responsibility, but also the question of why no one reacted, so far. Read more ... [Source: Sputnik; translation LG]

Valentin Inzko, Austrian diplomat and by the irony Carinthian Slovene,  EU High Representative of Bosnia and Herzegovina, instead of honoring the Dayton Agreement to the letter, he is acting as a Gauleiter of B&H, or maybe he is not acting, he is appointed to be one... and nobody gives a flying f.....
And what to say to wrap the story up?
Serbs and Serbia are acceptable to the West, on our bending knees, only, but no way in heck, as partners and co-signers of an binding international agreement, Dayton Agreement surely is.
So, what is the difference between the behavior of the Third Reich and the Western Powers ?
For us - None!
