BELGRADE, 2016 (News) – Despite of historical growing of standard that has been recorded in Serbia over the past year, the purchasing power and the incomes of employees remained the lowest in the region, according to statistics obtained by the News.

The Serbian government confirmed that these data are accurate, but they do not have any influence on the success of economic reforms.
- Economic results of the government are more than satisfactory, and the growth of the standard is followed as a logical consequence of the reform measures we have implemented in the past - summed up the current work the Minister of Finance Dusan Vujovic.
- We are aware that salaries and pensions are still not able to follow this growth, but these are only statistical categories that should not worry our citizens. Statistics can often be misleading and display things worse than they are. Maybe it seems to you that you live more difficult today than a few years ago, but this is just a subjective feeling, that has no basis in reality. After all, let me remind you that wealth is in the eye of the beholder, but I can see that you are now better than ever - explained Vujovic.
A numerous increases of prices that citizens are going to whiteness this year, will not have a negative impact on citizen incomes, assures minister and promised that despite the growth of prices, wages and pensions would remain stable.
- New price of fuel, excise duties on alcoholic beverages, a TV subscriptions are just a few innovations that we are introducing this year. I would like to reassure the citizens and that I tell them that none of the above will not jeopardize the growth of their standard that will, according to our forecasts, by year, increase so much that no one will notice that salaries remain low - Vujovic promised, urging citizens to relax and believe that his government will do everything in its power to prevent these disturbing reports to reach the public. SURVEY: MOST SERBS ARE LIVING FROM THE WORK OF PRIME MINISTER VUCIC
WHOLE SERBIA, 2016 (News) - Results of the research conducted by the Institute for Economics and Survival in Sremska Kamenica clearly show that the majority of citizens in Serbia live today exclusively from the work of Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic. His contribution to the standard of life is equally represented in all age groups, regardless of gender and education level.
- We have studied economic trends in Serbia in the past several years and came to the conclusion that the majority of citizens filled its budget thanks Vucic and his work - said Dr. Milan Jakovljevic, presenting the results obtained by the Institute in Kamenica - Those with whom we spoke, jointly stood out that without the Prime minister's contribution were in danger to become a social cases and that they would not have the basic necessities of life - says Jakovljevic.
Sreten Stojković, one of the citizens who participated in the survey, confirmed that the work of Vucic alone had the greatest influence on the family budget.
- I finished the Faculty few years ago, and there is no job in my profession. My wife was recently fired, and we have two small children. Costs are increasing by day, and I am forced to work two jobs in order to somehow make a basic living. If we had not Vucic and his work I would not have managed to survive this time of transition - said he.
Pensioners with whom we spoke, agreed. All emphasize their gratitude to the Prime Minister on the fact that despite all his obligations he has managed to take a time and earn their pensions.
