Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS) leader Sanda Raskovic-Ivic has told Politika daily that she recently had lunch with U.S. Ambassador to Serbia Kyle Scott.
She noted that they "spoke only about Russia."
According to Raskovic-Ivic, Scott and she had an opportunity to speak "only because member of the Transatlantic Academy Ten Reinert was present."

The DSS leader added that she accepted the invitation out of her desire "to change the image of the DSS - it should become a party that talks with everyone."
Raskovic-Ivic also told the newspaper there was no rift between the DSS and their pre-election coalition partners the Dveri Movement. This was true, she continued, "because these are two different parties".
Raskovic-Ivic added that she did not think Dveri leader Bosko Obradovic would reach any kind of agreement with PM-designate Aleksandar Vucic.

Vojislav Seselj FIRST SPEECH AT THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY OF THE REPUBLIC OF SERBIA.
English translation: …… Electoral Commission, they could not change electoral results. Kyle Scott has done it. He was pressing the Republic Electoral Commission, Republican Bureau of Statistics, and your government withdrew when he intervened ….. your government receded. You have been scared of Scott* ..... You are not allowed to mention Scott even in a single word, here. You are asking in here - “Who is, who is, who is, who is?”. Well, is it Risticevic, or me, or fifth, or tenth. No, this is Scott. And it is a shame to sharpen saber on me or Democratic Party of Serbia, or someone third. Sharpen it on Scott! (Martinovic is smiling). Scott got himself involved in governance. Scott has the last word. Eliminate Scott…. The Chairman “Thank you mr. Seselj” ….
[*Scott as pronounced in American English is “”skAt”, however in Serb’s pronunciation is “skOt” and roughly means “four legged animal”, or “the offspring of a four legged animal”. Actually, the closest translation, with meaning in English is “bitch”. Vojislav Seselj knows that very well, and that might be the reason why he is repeating “Scott” almost in every sentence.]
LG Comment:
What was on the Sanda Raskovic-Ivic, Kyle Scott and Theodore A. Reinert Lunch Menu?
It is interesting that Raskovic-Ivic did not change "the image of the DSS", as a party "that talks with everyone," when she refused talks with Prime Minister Vucic, even before the invitation from his side, and without any lunch offer.
It seems that these "talks with everyone", according to Sanda Raskovic Ivic, have to been considered very selectively, and the US ambassador "is everyone" but Prime Minister Vučić is not!
How Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS) "image" will benefit of those double standards in comprehention of the therm "everyone", is going to be seen.
It is an interesting argument of Vojislav Seselj about the involvement of the US ambassador Kyle Scott in the last elections in Serbia, where the government withdrew in fear, which may be related primarily to the extremely unusual twist in which the coalition "Dveri-DSS," with two more "shorties", passed through the eye of a needle in the second attempt to jump accoss the threshold of 5% for 0.03%. This statement about the role of US ambassador in all that circus could be true, cause Seselj is known to have pretty good information.
Consequently, the question arises - why did the US ambassador pushed the "Dveri-DSS" coalition? For certain is that reason was not the "victory of democracy"!
It seems that meetings with US Ambassador in Belgrade, became a habit of Sanda Raskovic Ivic. According to the Serbian press, Raskovic Ivic, had a meeting with US Ambassador, just before the elections, as well. US had sent some signals to certain high DSS officials, during Kostunica leadership and before the elections in 2014., that DSS would be acceptable to pass the election threshold and to enter the Parliament, BUT WITHOUT KOSTUNICA! In 2014. elections DSS stayed below the threshold in the last hour of the votes counting. Kostunica resigned. Sanda Raskovic Ivic came into power in DSS. She met US Ambassador before the elections in 2016. DSS was below the threshold. For ONE VOTE! Voting was repeated in a few polls. DSS jumped across the 5% threshold for 0.03%, and got 5 seats in the Parliament (The coalition Dveri-DSS got 13 seats, but DSS's share was 6 seats - 5 DSS members + 1 independent intellectual). She met US Ambassador after the elections. In his first addressing of Serb's Assembly, Vojislav Seselj directly accused US Ambassador Scott for the brutal and decisive interference in Serb's Elections. Consequently, the change of DSS political platform could be expected. Sanda Raskovic Ivic is, most likely, going to evolve DSS slowly and insidiously. Acctualy, she is in position to build DSS almost from scratch. Raskovic Ivic sacrificed the "old" DSS Party to enter the Parliament. DSS doesn't exist in Vojvodina, and Novi Sad, any more, and in Belgrade appears only in traces. The same situation for DSS is across Serbia. Sanda Raskovi Ivic payed the ultimate price, entering the Republican Parliament to the detriment of DSS, but may be that was on the menu of these lunches with US Ambassador. Slow evolution of DSS and new Party members without those fossils of old Kostunica's DSS.
Finally, Serb's press totally omitted to comment The Third Man! The guy that has been just mentioned - "the Transatlantic Academy member Ten Reinert"!
First of all, his name was accidentally and conveniently misspelled - "Ten".
The name is Theodore "Ted" Reinert, Program Officer at the Transatlantic Academy. This "Academy" presents itself as "is a research institution devoted to creating common approaches to the long-term challenges facing Europe and North America.". Some more reading will reveal that the main subject of these "research" is geo-politics. Moreover, the Ted's CV shows that the way this "former research assistant" that "researched" even NATO Parliamentary Assembly, introduces himself must be - "Reinert. Ted Reinert"!
That leads to the ultimate question:
When Sanda Raskovic Ivic lunches with US Ambassador in Belgrade and "the researcher" from the Transatlantic Academy - WHAT WAS ON THE MENU?
But don't sell us this "Russia" bullsh*t. Ms. Raskovic-Ivic be honest just ONCE IN YOUR LIFE!
