A large number of football fans in Preshevo (on the South of Serbia) on Sunday celebrated the victory of Albania over Romania at the European Championship in France, until late at night.
The celebration of enthusiastic Shqiptars (somebody calls them - Albanians) in Preshevo was transferred to nearby villages. With a thunderous celebration, excitement, and chant to the winning football team, a nationalistic messages of fans could be heard on the streets: "Long live the ethnic Albania" and "Preshevo is Albania".
Despite the euphoric celebration and strong chanting to Albanian footballers, members of the Police Station in Preshevo did not have to intervene. The Serbs that live in the settlement called "Train Station" retreated to their homes.
Shqiprats in Preshevo and Bujanovac in early February 2015 loudly celebrated the placement of Albania to the European Football Championship and the irrepressible Shqiptar's extremists in Prehsevo and Bujanovac provoked upset citizens shouting in Serbian language - "Kill an slaughter, until there are no Serbs!"
And what now? The "Kosovo"scenario is repeating in three municipalities on the south of Serbia. Are we to expect a helping Western hand to "poore, oppressed" Shqiptars, once more?
